Biography
Oliver B. Cushing is a dedicated attorney who seeks to give his clients the legal assistance that he would want his family to receive.
Before embarking on his legal career, he served as a manager at Chick-fil-A, where he honed his leadership and customer service skills. He further expanded his expertise as an assistant manager, Maitre d’, and Server with Flight Restaurant Group and Southern Social, gaining invaluable insights into business operations and client relations. Additionally, Oliver previously served as a varsity baseball assistant coach at Central High School in Memphis, TN, where he brought his passion for the game and leadership skills to the field.
Oliver was the salutatorian of his high school class, demonstrating a commitment to excellence from an early age. He pursued his passion for the law at the University of Memphis, where he earned a degree in Legal Studies, graduating magna cum laude. As vice president of the Legal Students Association, he played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and engagement among his peers, advocating for student interests and promoting professional development opportunities.
Oliver continued his legal studies at the William H. Bowen School of Law, where he actively contributed to the law school community as treasurer of several organizations, including the Student Bar Association, the Business and Tax Law Society, and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. His dedication to his studies and the law community earned him nominations to the Dean's Student Advisory Council by Former Dean Theresa Beiner and was reappointed by Current Dean Colin Crawford.
Now residing in Maumelle, Oliver enjoys staying active through gym workouts and exploring the outdoors with walks and hikes. He is committed to providing exceptional legal services and advocating for his clients with integrity and dedication.
