Biography
Mason Gates graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he was recognized for his pro bono work and served as Articles Editor for the Journal of Food Law and Policy. While in law school, he designed Equal Justice Works fellowship focused on preserving family land and building generational wealth for low-income people in Eastern Arkansas by expanding access to estate planning and title clearing services.
Originally from rural Utah, Mason was raised in a big family on a small homestead farm. He earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Utah and spent seven years in business sales and operations at Apple and three years as a real estate agent. He then relocated to his wife’s home state of Arkansas to pursue his life-long dream of becoming an attorney.
Mason brings his passion and experience to Nash Law Firm, where he crafts estate plans tailored to each client's goals—whether it's protecting a growing nest egg or ensuring the seamless transfer of a multi-generational family farm, he will work with you to find the right solution.
In his personal life, Mason is an avid dog lover, who has rescued five dogs (and counting). He enjoys exploring new places with his wife and current furry companions, Penny Mae and Ava June.
