Sonja was born and raised in Arkansas. After graduating from Mount St. Mary’s Academy in Little Rock, she became a stay-at-home mom. Once her children were of school-age, Sonja took a management position at Check Right Check Recovery Service. Later she accepted a position with Nuvell Financial Services. 

After 10 years, Sonja moved to Folsom, California, in 2000, to marry her husband. She accepted school office manager positions in K/12 schools in the largest school district in California. Sonja also took courses in business management. In 2010, Sonja and her husband moved to Arkansas to be near her aging parents. She met Mary Nash when Mary wrote her parents’ revocable trust. 

In 2015, Sonja came to work for Nash Law Firm as a legal assistant. Her favorite part of her job is hearing the sigh of relief from clients after completing trusts and knowing that their affairs are in order. 

Sonja has been married to her husband Michael for 21 years. She has 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Sonja has five snuggly fur babies and loves gardening and photography.
